One of our Lemonade Day entrepreneurs gave a portion of his profit to help rebuild a very important piece of architecture in our community. Our historic Depot was listed on the 10 most endangered pieces of important architecture in our community. A very famous architect designed the Depot by the name of Daniel Burnham. Daniel Burnham also help design many important buildings in Chicago and New York.
The passion that this little boy brought to the new owner of the depot has helped spark what has been a very important revival in our community.
How can we continue to celebrate the true power of children that have a vision and entrepreneurial skills to make a difference in our communities?
