Lemonade Day Alaska will continue to monitor and assess the actual and potential impact of Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) on our Lemonade Day Alaska participants and supporters who are planning and hosting events over the next several weeks and months. Under guidance from Lemonade Day National and the University of Alaska Anchorage (UAA), Lemonade Day Alaska will make the best choices for the health of staff, families and children who participate in the program.

As the developments regarding COVID-19 unfold, kids’ curiosity and anxieties may also rise. Lemonade Day is always concerned about the health and welfare of our participating youth. The National Association of School Psychologists (NASP) has created a great tool, Talking to Children About COVID 19 (coronavirus)-A Parent Resource, to assist parents and caregivers with this conversation.
