Community Lemonade Stand Sites
Part of being a successful entrepreneur is choosing a great location for your business. Once you have selected that location, be sure to let others know where it is by using the Brand My Stand map: https://www.lemonadeday.org/northeast-indiana/brand-your-stand.
The Lemonade Day Advisory Council is also arranging some community sites. Be sure to check back here to see what's being planned in your community!
Finding the Perfect Location
Looking for a great place to operate your lemonade stand on May 11? Here are some tips for finding the perfect spot:
Be respectful! Remember to receive permission of business owners before setting up your stand on their property.
Be in the middle of it! Consider sites that are likely to have a decent amount of foot traffic.
Be safe! Make sure you have a location in a safe environment.
Be smart! Research areas that may already have another event scheduled that is likely to draw in large crowds.
Be seen! Choose a site with excellent visibility.
Be unique! Try finding a site that others may not think of as a typical stand location.
Be mobile! Why wait for customers to come to you when you can go to them! Try a mobile stand setup in a wagon.
Be flexible! Consider backup locations in case you are turned away from your first choice.
Have you considered any of these locations? Remember, you need to ask permission of the property owner/manager before setting up your stand.
- Your neighborhood! You don't have to always go far from home to have a successful business.
- Grocery Stores
- Gas Stations
- Ball Parks
- Parks & Trails
- Golf Courses
- Retail Stores - Home improvement stores, malls
- Office Buildings
- Car Washes
- Nail Salons
- School Events
- Family Entertainment Locations
