Our story

Raising Cane's Story

Todd Graves, Founder, CEO, Fry Cook and Cashier of Raising Cane’s got his first taste of business at a lemonade stand in his front yard. Little did he know that 35 years later, he would be selling lemonade at nearly 450 Raising Cane’s restaurants all over the world! Todd’s passion for entrepreneurship is why it’s a focus of Raising Cane’s community involvement. It’s also the reason he helped launch Lemonade Day in his home state of Louisiana back in 2011, serving as City Champion of Lemonade Day Louisiana.

We are proud to partner with Lemonade Day in empowering today’s youth to become tomorrow’s entrepreneurs! Raising Cane’s strongly believes in supporting our communities and Lemonade Day’s philosophy of spend some, save some and share some reflects that belief and is a great lesson for any young entrepreneur to learn. Our own entrepreneurial roots and appreciation for our community inspires us to give kids the opportunity to become an entrepreneur. We believe in this program and its ability to spark the next generation of leaders and we are proud to introduce Lemonade Day to communities across the country.
