Summer Youth Entrepreneurship Summit

Youth Summit

Youth have some of the most interesting and impactful ideas. And we here at Lemonade Day like to empower our youth. The entrepreneurship ideas and dreams of your youth shouldn't end with Lemonade Day. Their are other programs and activities you can get them involved with in order to channel their entrepreneurship spirit. One we came across and think is particularly fascinating is, Junior Social Entrepreneurship Summit (JSES).

What's uniquely intriguing about JSES is the fact that it was founded by a youth, Luca Pistor, a Santa Monica resident in 2010. JSES is a week long summer camp for civic-minded kids and teens, typically held in Santa Monica and Berlin. Since starting, in 2013, JSES has held five weeklong summer camps  (three in Berlin and two in Santa Monica/LA) under the guidance of university mentors.

At JSES, middle and high school students bring their BIG IDEAS and take a deep dive into the world of social entrepreneurship, where they work and learn from some of the best social entrepreneurship faculty and leaders in the world. The students work in teams on their business concept plans that they then pitch to a panel of experts. "It's a free-form think tank for kids," says Luca.

The 4th Annual Junior Social Entrepreneurship Summit 2016

will be held in

Santa Monica/LA

at USC & Oceanview Beach House

We think this could be an amazing opportunity if your children have enjoyed and excelled at Lemonade Day, want to further their entrepreneurship skills, and meet like-minded youth. For more information please visit JSES.
