Greetings from Lemon Head!

Lemonade Day is coming to McMinnville!

Help us empower today's youth to be tomorrow's entrepreneurs! Lemonade Day is a free, fun, experiential learning program that teaches youth how to start, own and operate their own business - a lemonade stand. The foremost objective of Lemonade Day is to empower youth to take ownership of their lives and become productive members of society - the business leaders, social advocates, volunteers, and forward thinking citizens of tomorrow. Each child that registers receives a backpack with an Entrepreneur Workbook that teaches them the 14 lessons of Lemonade Day like creating budgets, setting profit-making goals, serving customers, repaying investors, and giving back to the community. Along the way, they acquire skills in goal-setting, problem solving, and gain self-esteem critical for future success. They keep all the money they make and are encouraged to spend some, save some and share some.

Rachel Tom

With over 15 years under her belt, Rachel has been quietly working behind the scenes as the ‘secret weapon’ of high profile clients, from New York Times Bestselling authors, brand agents to Disney, M&M and Coca Cola – as well as LinkedIn and a myriad of small business owners – Rachel is now the proud founder and CEO of Suite 4, a marketing agency located in downtown McMinnville, Oregon, the heart of Oregon Wine Country.

Tom earned his BA with a double major in Economics and Finance in 2010 from Linfield College and received his Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) designation in 2015.

He is currently a MBA candidate in the University of Oregon Executive MBA program. Tom is the current Treasurer for the Yamhill County Cultural Coalition and is a member of the McMinnville Noon Rotary Club. He completed the McMinnville Area Chamber of Commerce Leadership Program in 2013. Tom and his wife Rose live in Sherwood, Oregon, and spend their free time outdoors, reading, golfing, and bike riding.
